Pickles?

The Chugging of the Pickle Juice has become a long standing, and time-honored tournament tradition for Edgewood Ultimate. The first appearance of the pickles began with Ryan Husom '05, who had his mother (Edgewood Teacher: Mrs. Husom) bring them as a snack to aid with muscle fatigue.

The first known case of chugging was in 2005 by senior Robert Cacic '05. Done mostly on a dare, it later became a legendary story that would be emulated for years to come.

To this day, giant jars of pickles can be seen on Edgewood sidelines. At the end of each tournament one lucky player is selected to attempt the chugging. If done successfully, they will receive the empty pickle jar as a trophy, along with eternal glory.
